HOW DO I GET THERE?
The Parkland is accessible via car and bike and is just 20 minutes from Carmarthen and 10 minutes from Llandeilo.  Directions can be found on the map below.
 
WHAT TIME DO THE PARKLAND AND CAFÉ OPEN AND CLOSE?
The main gates, café and toilets are open during café trading hours, please see Caffi Ceirw's social media page for up to date information:
 
All vehicles must be removed from premises by the café closing time.  Pedestrian gates remain open.

CAN I BUY SOMETHING TO EAT THERE?
Absolutely, Caffi Ceirw is an independent cafe overlooking the Estate with far reaching views of the Towy valley. Hot and cold refreshments are available with indoor and outdoor seating. It's dog friendly, too!

IS THERE A CAR PARK?
There is a car park on site, we ask for a small donation of £4 for all day and £2 for up to 2 hours.  All parking donations will contribute to the restoration and maintenance of the Gelli Aur Estate. Scan the QR code to make your car parking donation.







 

CAN I BRING MY DOG? 
We know that dogs are members of the family and they are very much welcome here. Dogs on lead are allowed into the parkland, former deer park and the Arboretum. We ask visitors to please always clean up after their dogs in the bins dotted around the site. Why not share a picture of Fido on our Facebook page?!
 
HOW ACCESSIBLE IS THE PARKLAND?
We aim to provide the best possible access for our visitors. Due to the natural landscape of the parkland, some of it is wheelchair friendly. However, some areas may become uneven and slippery in wet weather.

CAN I VISIT THE HOUSE?
The Mansion House is sadly semi-derelict and off-limits to the general public. This includes the Stable Block and the Service Wing.  We are applying for grants to stabilise the Atrium in the main house.  Please read more on our 'Projects' page. The Arboretum offers spectacular views of the front facade of the Mansion House, but visitors cannot go inside.

WHEN IS THE ARBORETUM OPEN?
Our gorgeous Arboretum is open every Sunday, 11am-3pm.
 
CAN I DO A PHOTOSHOOT ON THE ESTATE?
The Parkland is open for personal photography.  Please contact us if you are looking to carry out a commercial photoshoot or filming.
