Community Consultation Event for the Future of Gelli Aur Estate
The Golden Grove Trust is pleased to announce a community consultation event to discuss the future of the Gelli Aur Estate. We invite all members of the community to join us on 13th November in Llandeilo to share your thoughts and ideas on how we can secure the estate’s future.
Event Details:
● Date: 13 November 2-7pm
● Location: The Tywi Centre, Llandeilo
● Purpose: Community Consultation on the Future of Gelli Aur Estate
The Gelli Aur Estate has a rich history, but unfortunately, the buildings have fallen into a state of disrepair and some areas of the parkland are currently closed to the public while we fundraise for essential works to improve access.
The new trustees are committed to the start of a new chapter and are developing long-term plans to preserve and look after this historic site. We need your help to ensure these plans reflect the community’s needs and aspirations.

Thanks to funding from the Rural Innovation Fund from Carmarthenshire Council, the Trust have launched a media project and a feasibility and community consultation to explore the best ways to revitalise the estate. Your input is crucial in shaping the future of Gelli Aur.
How to Participate:
We’d really encourage you to attend in person, as you will have an opportunity to meet some of the team working on the project and talk about your thoughts and ideas. Your feedback will help us create a sustainable and vibrant future for Gelli Aur. If you are unable to attend the event, you can share your thoughts via this online questionnaire
